Baloo (The Jungle Book)

What would be more fitting for our Little Monkey than a Jungle Inspired Nursery to let his imagination run wild? I still remember proudly when during our 12 week scan, following our little mans womb antics, we lovingly crowned him Little Monkey. From tiny somersaults to using my womb as a springboard, baby Henry already had a personality of his own.

Initially as we didn’t know whether LM would be a boy or a girl, therefore we kept the room neutral.  With vintage cream walls and Mama’s & Papa’s cream 3 piece furniture set, it was the perfect blank canvas for when our baby was born.

When we finally welcomed Henry into the world and got to know more of his little personality, a jungle themed room felt like the perfect fit.  The bright colours would not only help stimulate his growing imagination but the animals create the perfect characters for bedtime stories.  Not wanting to go too crazy with the jungle theme, I also mixed in stripes and spots in accessories.
