When it comes to toddler style, there is nothing more achingly adorable than a kids denim jumpsuit, especially of the mini-me variety.
I have such a strong affinity to dressing my little ones comfortably every day, so they can just enjoy being kids, without the restrictions some clothes can give. I love simple lines and minimalist shapes, that lend themselves to soft colour palettes, delicate prints and subtle details. Oh & lots of stripes.
So when I found this Button Front Wide Leg Denim Jumpsuit for Posy, I fell in love with it instantly. Made with at least 50% ecologically grown cotton, the fabric feels super soft to touch and most importantly the material is durable.
The little pleat front details, wooden style buttons and round neck; give her all-in-one a feminine touch, which I love. It’s also beautifully versatile, as I can layer it over liberty printed blouses, simple jersey tops, or under chunky knits for our cooler spring days.
At the moment they’re a little bit long for Posy, so I just rolled up the hems, giving the perfect amount of room for her to “grow into” and evoke chilled relaxed vibes. The wide legs give a retro feel and the tone of blue denim makes me think of the seaside and deep blue oceans. Everything we are all looking forward to revisitig in the future.
As we are still in self isolation, there isn’t much need for shoes at the moment. So Posy is loving toddling around bare foot, sun hat on and stretches of lazy days and adventures ahead of her. I just wish they did it in my size x
